Shrewsbury Flower Show 2017

By popular demand Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir were welcomed back to perform on Flower Show Friday. We performed in the band stand midday to a very warm applause. During our second performance much appreciation was shown upon our return singing our varied repertoire. In the evening in the arena we sang, accompanied by the mass bands and the audiance, who were in fine voice, the national anthems.


St Chads Church 

An amazing evening of entertainment from Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir and the Shrewsbury Brass Band. Joint numbers included 'Bramha' and 'The Peacemakers'. Shrewsbury Brass Band performed wonderful arrangements of 'Les Miserables' tunes and 'Pomp and Circumstance'.


 

New Male Voices Welcome

If you enjoy singing, meeting people, wonderful social events,visits to varies venues, weekend concerts etc, then why not join the Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir. Come along on a Monday evening to the Beaconsfield Club in Shrewsbury at 7.30pm and sit and listen or even join in and sing with the choir. You will enjoy.


Norbury Hall Concert

A tremendous evening of entertainment from the Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir and the Norbury School Banjo Ensamble. A considerable amount of funds were raised for the school and hall. A pat on the back is deserved to all who cooked and served the wonderful food, everyone enjoyed. 

 


 

Concert at The Lord Hill Saturday 12th September

A wonderful concert raising £2085.00 for Severn Hospice. The guests were entertained by a piano duet from Rachael Whitehouse and Glyn Williams, this was followed by an excellent performance from the Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir directed by Ivor Williams. The evening was concluded by the brilliant comedy magician Paul Ray. A cheque presentation was made by Shrewsbury Mayor Miles kenny, John Sudlow, SMVC chairman to Paul Donahue of Severn Hospice.


 

Wattlesbro Concert

The concert at Wattlesboro Village Hall proved to be a successful and enjoyable event. Over £1000.00 was raised for the Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. The Shrewsbury Male Voice Choir wish to thank 'The Friday Singers' for the invite to support a worthy fund. Everyone enjoyed the broad variety of songs from both choirs and the wonderful performance from 'John Croft' on his banjo/Ukulele playing and singing a selection of George Formby songs.
